State of the Art Duct Cleaning Equipment

One of  the few giant vacuum truck systems in Northeast Ohio. The truck box here is equipped with a Quincy compressor which has a large holding tank that holds 185 PSI ( pounds per square inch) which operates air brushes and tools. The turbine creates the vacuum at 12,000 CFM’s (cubic feet per minute).

How Much Does Duct Cleaning Cost?

The first step in our process is inspection to determine many factors impacting price. Depending on the type of home, square footage ( i.e. colonial, ranch, bungalow, slab) and the positioning of the heating and cooling system (basement, crawl space or attic) I can estimate the time and cost. This is a common question. We also ask how many registers and returns are in the home as this is very helpful in determining the most accurate quote. If you will be baking cookies that day, Art may give you a price break.

How Does Air Duct Cleaning Work?

This yellow and black connector hooks up to aluminum pipes that are connected to the entrance of the home. Two types of flexible hoses are uses in order to go around typical building structures like stairs and corners. These hoses allow for maximum air flow that we need to extract the debris from your home in the most efficient way. Helpful hint: Most companies use hoses that are corrugated on the inside and outside. This restricts suction. Make sure to ask about this feature if you call another company for an estimate. I encourage other quotes as you will become more educated about this process and discover an apples to apples comparison.

Does Air Duct Cleaning Make a Mess?

A common question I get is about dust after the job. If the job is done correctly, there is no dust. Why ? Air whips are inserted into a cold air return (as shown here) to break up the debris and send it through a series of vacuum hoses to the truck holding tank. Different air brushes are inserted into the actual heating registers depending on the lay out of the heating system. You would be amazed at the complexity of systems I have encountered over the years; servicing residential and commercial properties. Fabricating devices necessary to execute a job is needed . Many technicians are not competent in this level of expertise.
